Universal Technology’s materials testing and processing division serves the plastic and rubber industries with equipment for laboratory testing, pilot plants and even full-scale production, all backed by professional services and support. Suppliers represented include Ceast of Italy, Dr. Collin of Germany, FTT of the UK, Axxicon of the Netherlands, Gibitre of Italy, and Maplan of Austria.

We focus on providing our customers with tailored solutions and custom designs, as well as a full range of installation, maintenance and technical support. Some of the successful projects we have worked on with our customers include: expansion of the Maoming ethylene plant to 600,000 tons per year output for Lanzhou Petrochemical, equipping the central testing lab for PetroChina’s 10 million tons per year refinery and 1.2 million tons per year ethylene plant at Dushanzi, as well as several projects for CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Co. Ltd, Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Co. Ltd and Hainan Petrochemical.

Many customers also rely on us to supply standards-meeting equipment for quality control, testing and evaluation of various materials. We can also provide instrumentation for specialized testing applications, such as flammability and fire-resistance, polymer rheology and process analysis, impact testing and material degradation research, etc. Labs and research centers that we have helped equip include: the key lab of polymer processing engineering for the Ministry of Education based at South China University of Technology, the national petrochemicals testing center for organic raw materials and synthetic resins, the national testing center for chemical building materials, the national quality supervision and testing center for fireproof building materials, and a key national lab for fire-resistant materials.
