In 1992, Rappold Schleifmittel joined forces with Winterthur Schleiftechnik, a leading Swiss maker of grinding wheels also with a history going back over 100 years. In 1999, Rappold and Winterthur were joined by SlipNaxos of Sweden. Today, the Winterthur Technology Group, featuring the Winterthur, Rappold and SlipNaxos brands, continues to lead the grinding wheel manufacturing industry in Europe.
